Who's Who

How does our school work?

The class teacher is the adult who your child will see most. Each class teacher is supported by at least one teaching assistant, who can help with small group work or whole class activities.
In addition, we employ a learning mentor who works with individual children, either in or out of class, it is for those who need a bit more help to settle socially or academically. Our inclusion leader can deliver or organise extra support for those who need it.

We also work with other local schools to enhance our provision for our most able children to ensure they are challenged and engaged. Children who join Reay who are not fluent in English are given extra language support, mainly through practical and play based activities.
